Kenneth K. Sibley passed away in Tillamook, Ore. on July 21. He was born in Duxbury on Sept. 24, 1926 to Arthur and Rena (King) Sibley. Mr. Sibley was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served the country honorably during WWII. He lived and worked in Worcester where he met Greta Clark and they were married May 29, 1959. After living in Worcester for several years, they moved to Duxbury and eventually to Marshfield before he retired in 1987 from his work as Service and Production Manager with a Marine Compass manufacturer. They then moved to a golfing community in Florida where they both enjoyed many years of golf before moving back to Mass. When Greta passed away in 2005, Mr. Sibley went to be with his son Curtis Sibley and daughter-in-law Christina Sibley in Tillamook, Ore. Mr. Sibley was preceded in death by his son Curtis in 2008. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Christina of Tillamook. At Mr. Sibley’s request, no services were held and the burial was private. Burial beside his wife Greta was at the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury on July 27, 2012. Arrangements were handled by Waud’s Funeral Home in Oregon and Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston. |
