Frank J. Hogan of Duxbury died Dec. 14 at the age of 77. Mr. Hogan was a self-employed environmental engineer. He was an active member in the community and served on the Holy Family Parish Council in Duxbury. He was also a representative to the Duxbury Interfaith Council where he served as Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer for several years. Mr. Hogan won Volunteer of the Year for his devotion to serving the people of his community. He proudly served in the US Navy. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Carolyn (LeGoff); his daughters, Shay Hogan Fehrnstrom and her husband Ken of Alamo, Calif.; and Susan Hogan Murphy of Cumberland, R.I.; his son-in-law Joe Murphy; his grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin and Jack Murphy; and his brother, Brian Hogan of Englewood, Fla. The funeral was held on Monday, Dec. 19. Mr. Hogan is buried in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duxbury Interfaith Council, PO Box 1161, Duxbury, 02331. |
