She enjoyed many Elderhostel classes here and abroad. She loved gardening, walking, clamming, many kinds of needlework, watercolor sketching and most recently, woodcarving. She was noted for her “green” lifestyle long before the term was coined. Mrs. Walker was the wife of the late Herbert E. Walker, II. She leaves her daughter, Evelyn A. Walker and son-in-law Norman P.
