SSC Community Voices, South Shore Conservatory’s adult chorus for individuals with developmental delays, present their annual winter concert on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at South Shore Conservatory’s Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George Street, Duxbury.

The chorus presents a variety of seasonal tunes including “Auld Lang Syne,” “Shalom Chaverim,” “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” and “Celebrate With Joy.”  Performing again this year will be handbell choir, The Dead Ringers, and for the first time, under the direction of conductor Kathy McMinn, Pure Treble and Pure Harmony children’s choruses join them on three selections.

A non-auditioned chorus, SSC Community Voices provides joyful ensemble singing and performance opportunities for over 30 adults and young adults with developmental delays. Directed by Eve Montague and Kari O’Briant, the chorus begins their next session in January and welcomes new singers and peer mentors.

The concert is free and open to the public. Audience members are invited to join the chorus members for a complimentary reception following the concert.  For more information on SSC Community Voices or South Shore Conservatory Music Therapy Programs, please contact Eve Montague, Director of Creative Arts Therapies at 781-934-2731 ext. 20, email e.montague@sscmusic.org, or visit sscmusic.org.
